Sally locked in the second highest wave score and heat total for the day to move into the quarter finals of the Cholos Women's Hawaiian Pro. When the day started there were three surfers still in the race for the Star Series Title (formerly WQS). Sally eliminated Courtney Conologue in her heat, leaving the sole contender team mate Laura Enever. When Enever failed to progress in the final heat of the day that left Sally with enough points to claim the ASP Women's Star Series for the second time.
