We have nine stops on our World Tour this year and event four – the Commonwealth Bank Beachley Classic – kicked off yesterday. The event was moved from the main site at Dee Why around the corner to Curl Curl where there was some slightly bigger and more consistent waves. It suited me because I'm staying with friends at a dreamy little spot at Curly. I got second in my first round heat, I wasn't too happy about it but I still progressed so I'll look to ramp things up in round 3. I want to send a special shout out to all of you for your support during the last event in NZ, the website numbers went through the roof. Keep the positive vibes coming for stop four. I'm so psyched for a win my first World Tour event it isn't funny. We have a lay day today due to the small surf, stay tuned to the event site for updates and to watch the comp live. Otherwise keep checkin in here for updates. – Sal
